On Friday, Canada is expected to declare the removal of numerous retaliatory tariffs on U.S. products as a gesture of goodwill aimed at revitalizing halted trade discussions, according to a source familiar with the situation.
The source, who wished to remain anonymous due to the delicate nature of the matter, indicated that Canadian tariffs on U.S. automobiles, steel, and aluminum will remain in place for the time being.
