New Zealand is currently confronting significant national security challenges, marked by a rise in threats from foreign interference and espionage, especially from China, as indicated by an intelligence report published on Thursday.
The report from the New Zealand Security Intelligence Service (SIS) stated that there is a high likelihood of undetected espionage activities that are detrimental to the nation's interests, and that foreign nations persist in their efforts to target essential organizations, infrastructure, and technology in order to acquire sensitive information.
