Air Canada (AC.TO) has halted its profit projections for the third quarter and the entire year as of Monday, due to its aircraft being grounded. This situation occurred after striking flight attendants refused a government-mandated order to return to work and called on the airline to resume negotiations. The airline, which usually carries 130,000 passengers daily and is part of the global Star Alliance, had planned to start ramping up its operations on Sunday evening, following a labor relations board's directive for the union to return to work and enter binding arbitration.
